A focus on nature

Itkul is based in the vast expanses of Altai, Russia’s most ecologically pure region, where the wheat grain, rye, barley, and millet we use to produce our natural malt spirit are cultivated.

Humanity

No matter what technologies we implement at Itkul, there’s always a person at the controls: a resident of Sokolovo village, whose future is entirely dependent on our business. This is a huge responsibility, but also a lifechanging opportunity, which is why all of Itkul’s activities are centred around genuine human communication, helping each other, commitment, and flexible thinking.

Authenticity

We have been producing natural malt spirit and other beverages for more than 150 years and, while we’re always looking towards the future, we haven’t forgotten our past. We won’t let the flow of time alter our course, which is so familiar to us and so vital for our products. Our entire production cycle has stayed the same and we continue to produce malt spirit drawing on a deep understanding of how greatly it differs from its fermented counterparts.

Freedom

Itkul has been headed by different owners at different times but today, thanks to the financial backing of the international group Marussia Beverages, we have total freedom to express ourselves and fulfil our true potential.
